Process a Patient Deduction - EMIS Web

1. Click the EMIS button in the top-left corner of the screen > Workflow > click Workflow Manager

2. Click the Registration section in the navigation pane in the left hand side of the screen.

3. Click Deductions.

4.In the main section of the screen, click the required patient deduction. Further details about the deduction are displayed in the Transaction Information pane.

5.Check the details and click the appropriate option on the Registration Workflow ribbon. The options displayed depend on the deduction reason. If the deduction is OK to process, click Accept.

6. The patient is deducted, and their status changed to "Inactive". These patients are then listed in Patient Archive in the System Tools area.

7. If the patient is to be re-registered, click Re-Register instead. The Re-register Patient Details screen is displayed, showing the patient’s details. Complete this screen to send the information back to the Trading Partner.
